This was my entry to for the April 2015 Exquisite Corpse dungeon. If you are not familiar with an exquisite corpse, it is a sort of parlor drawing game where one sheet of paper is folded three ways and three separate people draw a body on the folds without seeing the drawing before them. As in, one person draws the top most portion of the body, folds her portion so only the bottomest lines show, the next person draws a portion of the body, and folds it so only his bottomest lines show, and the third person draws the bottomest part of the body seeing only the bottomest lines of the portion preceding his section. Rodger Thorm put this thing together and it came out really cool. At the end of the month a total of 12 folks had contributed to the thing. You can download it here, in all the three feet long glory it entails. Thanks Rodger, Dyson, David, Kevin, Billy, Scott, Scott, Nate, Nate, Jens, and Paul. Rodger’s unveiling of the map can be read about here.
I have changed some things around the blog. I added some navigation to the right, a blogroll, changed up the header image, and lots of little things. There is a download section now, so that is nice. I meant to have the other two magic swords up by the end of tonight but it isn’t looking like that is going to happen. One may hit the site on auto fire tomorrow.
CONTESSA SPRING BREAK
Do you know about ConTessa? You should. It is an always online convention to promote women in games. They had an event this weekend and Sarah Richardson ran “A Single Small Cut” with the Lamentations of the Flame Princess ruleset. I played. I had never played on Google Hangouts before, nor had I played LotFP either. Well damn, it was a blast. In hindsight, the game reminded me why I am not a fan of pregen characters. I have trouble role playing them. I basically was the murderhobo and did terrible, unnecessary things. All in all though it was a blast and a great way to spend a few hours on my only day off this week. You can watch the whole play through here.
